Excellent Chinese restaurant. You get served whatever the chef is cooking that day, rather than choosing from a menu and the food is special, Hakkasan-level but without the noise of that place. A good experience as well as just dinner.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. This is a tiny little Chinese place run by a family: the father is an amazing chef, the son is the head waiter and has some fantastic advice for anyone pondering the wine list - the best white wines I've ever tasted, I think. There is no menu, or at least you're not invited to view it; instead you're obliged to leave it to them, and you will not regret it. You will be asked what you do and don't like, your dietary requirements and how hungry you are. And then you are brought dish after dish of stunning chinese food. I'm not talking about the standard nonsense full of e numbers and beansprouts, no no. This is fresh, imaginative and perfectly cooked food in great variety. Once your full you just tell them and they stop bringing stuff out. The chef and his family are all charming. One warning: it's not cheap at around £70 a head (and we got a special rate because one of our group new the family), but for something special and for an exciting dining experience this place is pretty much unbeatable. High recommended.
