With the recent

opening of the brand new Curzon cinema in Millbank Tower news has now emerged

that a swanky member’s bar has just launched on the 29th floor of

the capital’s tallest riverside building. The Mondrian’s Sky Bar has its home

in LA but London now has its very own version, and it’s right on our doorstep!

With amazing views

of the Big Smoke’s skyline guests can sip delicious cocktails whilst listening

to music played by some of the world’s most talented DJs as they relax on the

plush banquette seating.

Hong Kong

entrepreneur Justin Etzin is responsible for the creation of Sky Bar and during

London Fashion Week he threw an official opening party that was sponsored by

Ciroc vodka and attracted some A-list stars such as Jamie Winstone, Corinne

Bailey Rae and Katie Melua.

The club is run by

the best in the business, including Marc Duvauchelle of the London Club and Bar

Awards and the Monaco International Club Show. Key members of staff and the

maitre d’ have been specially selected for hire from St Tropez and Cannes.

VIP services are

available for exclusive members including transportation in a 16-seater

speedboat from the nearby Millbank Tower pier and licensed drivers who will

take you home should you have one too many cocktails. Lift girls dressed as

airhostesses welcome guests and guide them from ground level up to the clouds

in the sky.

Expert mixologists

run the bar and take care of guests who need their thirsts quenched, providing

them with pharmaceutical themed drinks that have names such as ‘aphrodisiac’, ‘stress

reliever’ and ‘painkiller’.

Have you been exclusive enough to visit Sky Bar yet? Will you be getting yourself a membership there?
