New Pimlico Library Opening Soon

Existing Pimlico Library
station, is going to be closing down on Monday 30th August.
The brand new Pimlico Library will be moving across the road
to a new site in Pimlico Academy. This will be used by the students as well as
the local residents. The new library is due to open at 10am on the 8th
September.
The new look Pimlico Library is going to be completely
modernised and is expected to double the current space that is available, allow
increased opening hours and provide a service to the community all on one
level.
To monitor the progress being made in the new Pimlico
Library and to sneak a peak at photos from the build visit this blog – Books & the City. Westminster City Council have
apologised on their website for any inconvenience caused for the expected temporary
closure.
