Where: Boutique, 19 Churton Street, Pimlico, London, SW1V 2LY
When: Friday 28th September; 5.30pm-7.30pm
HIV and Sexual Health charity Terrence Higgins Trust is re-launching its much-loved charity shop in Pimlico on Friday 28th September by inviting people to haggle for items in store. The shop, which has a reputation as one of the best charity shops in London, has been renamed 'Boutique' and undergone a full transformation ahead of the re-launch.
Terrence Higgins Trust's 'Make Us An Offer' evening will be a chance for people to stop in and barter for items, including art, vintage clothes, household items, books, and new stock from suppliers including Moschino and Nigel Hall. With no fixed prices, the cost of every item in store will be negotiable throughout the event.
Boutique, formerly known as the Crusaid shop, has received much acclaim (with retail guru Mary Portas listing it among her top three in London) and has attracted regular custom from celebrities including comedian Alan Carr.
Christopher Relevitch, Manager of Boutique, said: "This evening is not only a chance to check out our new look Boutique, but also to get your hands on some unique treasures for a good price. There's all sorts on offer, whether you've been pining for a vintage bag or are just keen to see what trinkets you can snap up. With no fixed prices at all, only your powers of persuasion stand between you and some fantastic buys!
"We hope lots of people come along and join us in a toast to a new era for our shop, while raising funds to help support people living with HIV in the UK."
The 'Make Us An Offer' evening is one of a series of events taking place over the coming months to launch the new look Terrence Higgins Trust Boutique.
