Trained hawks have been brought in by handlers to deal with the pesky pigeons that plague Pimlico. However, the hawks have sparked controversy in the area after three or four reported attacks on small pet dogs. What's your view on this? Is 'Hawk Force' too extreme a method to deal with this problem? Do you have alternative suggestions? Has your dog been attacked? Let us know your thoughts.

Anybody affected by flocks of pigeons in Alderney Street and Sussex Street?

We have huge issues with three people feeding pigeons at the intersection of Alderney Street and Sussex Street (by Sussex playground). I saw about 10 pigeons landing on a pram! the lady was screaming. One pigeon feeder has had a conditionnal asbos and she is being taken to court again on 21 December for a permanent Asbos - 50 residents are going to watch the case....Meanwhile the whole area is soiled by faeces. Flocks of pigeons are watching you when emptying the bin!! like a Hitchcock film.!! Installing pigeon wires is useless as whole flocks perch on them.. Asbos are useless, cost us taxpayers money . Moreover we have not seen any hawks around...

What would you do? It si a health and safety issue really..
