Anybody affected by flocks of pigeons in Alderney Street and Sussex Street?

We have huge issues with three people feeding pigeons at the intersection of Alderney Street and Sussex Street (by Sussex playground). I saw about 10 pigeons landing on a pram! the lady was screaming. One pigeon feeder has had a conditionnal asbos and she is being taken to court again on 21 December for a permanent Asbos - 50 residents are going to watch the case....Meanwhile the whole area is soiled by faeces. Flocks of pigeons are watching you when emptying the bin!! like a Hitchcock film.!! Installing pigeon wires is useless as whole flocks perch on them.. Asbos are useless, cost us taxpayers money . Moreover we have not seen any hawks around...

What would you do? It is a health and safety issue really..

Pimlico residents are too posh for pigeon poo now?

I think its disgraceful the bullying these neighbours have done to this poor vulnerable woman. She obviously has some form of depression. The birds were here long before your houses and will be here after!

    Pimlico pigeon feeders are anti-social.
Feeding birds/pigeons occasionally in a park is not a problem. However two or three people in Pimlico deliberately feed 'these rats with wings' on a daily basis in order to encourage flocks to build up in the area. One woman, in Alderney Street, is feeding non-stop for at least an hour every afternoon from her balcony. These people have no respect for their neighbours or society. They encourage vermin, disease, fleas and moths; they deserve to get an Asbo for their anti-social behaviour.
