Spencer Fearon, who is now a boxing promoter, was encouraged to pursue his talent in the sport by teachers at the school who saw his potential from the early age of 10. Fearon turned pro at 23 and in a seven-year career he won a series of fights in his home city of London and across the UK, winning national titles.
Having fought under the nickname The Spirit, Fearon kept the spirit of boxing alive in his life by becoming the youngest black boxing promoter in Britain in 2007. Since then he's gone on to launch the Hard Knocks Boxing Promotions.
Pimlico Academy invited 37-year-old Fearon back to the site of his education in order to talk to the pupils and inspire them to pursue their talents.
