The new self-service express library provides readers with a speedy and convenient source of books and can be found on the ground floor of Westminster Archives Centre.

The library holds a collection of books catering for children and adults, alongside a small computer suite, and is based in the reception area of the Centre.
Computers, shelving, stock and a self-service kiosk have come from the former St James's Library in Victoria Street, which closed earlier this year, keeping start-up costs to a minimum. The new service is intended for residents in the immediate surrounding area, particularly older people and children who may find it difficult to get to the larger Victoria and Pimlico libraries. Residents can also use the new site to drop off books and pick up items reserved from other Westminster libraries.
