Want to Win an Xbox 360 and Kinect?

How would you like to get your hands on a shiny new Xbox 360, coupled with a Kinect, courtesy of Microsoft and the Westminster council? 

The competition is being run by the council in order to allow the residents in the borough to put their ideas forward on how improvements could be made to better the lives of the residents, local businesses and visitors. 

It's really very simple. All you have to do is explain what your idea is, how this idea will improve life in Westminster, why it's so original, what data your idea will need, and whether it would be a website, smartphone app or something entirely different. 

So you get your ideas considered and if your idea is deemed the best, as chosen by a panel comprised of judges from the council and Microsoft, you get a fantastic prize too. And the second best idea will receive an Arc Keyboard and Mouse. A win-win situation!

The best entries will also be considered for development as well so even if you don't win a prize, you can still be proud of the fact that your idea may actually go ahead and make a huge difference to the area. 

Closing date is Monday 18 July and entrants must be over 16, live/work/study locally, and submit one entry only. The winner will be notified by Friday 29 July by phone or email. So, get your thinking caps on and send your idea to communications@westminster.gov.uk. Remember to include your name, address and contact details.
