Traffic Disruption due to Protest March and Rally. Kensington to Whitehall Sat. 16th March

There will be a protest march forming  in Belgrave Square at 12.00 p.m. on Saturday 16th March.  It will then move off under police escort via the following route:

Wilton Crescent>Wilton Place>Knightsbridge>Piccadilly Underpass>Piccadilly>St James's Street>Pall Mall>Cockspur Street>Trafalgar Square>Whitehall>Richmond Terrace

The march ends at Richmond Terrace with a rally.

There will be  temporary traffic holds and some  closures.

There will be congestion in the area and motorists are advised to seek alternative routes whilst the march is running.

• 1200hrs:   March forms
• 1300hrs:   March moves off
• 1430hrs:   March arrives Richmond Terrace for rally
• 1600hrs:   Event finishes
