In London alone over 1,000 arrests have been made with almost 700 of those charged. Among the charged are two teenagers - Mario Quiassaca, 18 and Charlie Burton, also 18 - who were involved in the mayhem caused in our area.
Quiassaca, a student and talented semi-professional footballer who lives in the Churchill Gardens estate in Pimlico, had his family home raided last week where police recovered £1,133 worth of Hugo Boss goods. Quiassaca pleaded guilty to charges of theft and violent disorder.
Burton, an apprentice who resides in Battersea, was not involved in the looting but pleaded guilty to violent disorder.
Both teens have been denied bail and will be sentenced at Wood Green crown court at a later date.
