Pimlico's neighbourhood watch schemes

With Pimlico being plagued recently by a spate of muggings, some by knife point, locals have united as they've come together to form vigilante groups in a response to the increasing problem. But, do you know who your local neighbourhood watch is? Do you know where the nearest are based or whom you should contact if you needed them? Here we'll be highlighting where the Pimlico neighbourhood watches are and which areas they specifically look after.

Neighbourhood Watch Hide Tower (NWHT) are based on Regency Street. With support coming from the Vincent Square and St James South Safer Neighbourhoods Policing Team, the London Fire Brigade, Neighbourhood Watch and Crime Prevention Sections of Westminster City Council, Westminster Wardens and the Councillors in the Vincent Square Ward, NWHT are able to cover several parts of Pimlico, including: Hide Tower, Chapter Street, Regency Street, Esterbrooke Street, Hide Place and Vincent Street. Peabody, located on Vauxhall Bridge Road, are the second neighbourhood watch scheme in Pimlico. They work hard to stamp out the levels of anti-social behaviour, reduce the number of rough sleepers, prevent drug dealing and increase general safety in the Peabody Estate.
