Pimlico Academy students got top A-level results
Students from Pimlico Academy improved vastly compared to A-level results last year; 47 per cent achieved A*-B grades in their exams, which was an increase of 34 per cent from the previous year.
Westminster in general improved with other schools in the borough, such as Paddington Academy and Westminster Academy, gaining top results. A-level students have been working hard to achieve the grades they needed to go to university in an effort to avoid any resits and the inflated cost of tuition fees, which go up to £9,000 a year in 2012.
Today is the results day for all GCSE pupils. Let us know how you got on today. Are you planning on furthering your education? Where do you plan to go? Other plans in mind? And A-level students, share your comments with us too. Which uni do you hope to attend? What are your views of the rise in tuition fees? We want to hear from you all.
