Shots were fired at about 2.20 p.m. on Wednesday, 27 February on the Tachbrook Estate, SW1, near Marsh House. Police were called but found no evidence of anyone having been injured.

A car, a dark coloured Ford Focus, that was seen to leave the scene at speed was stopped by officers. The car was found to have sustained what is believed to be ballistic damage.

The occupants of the car, two men both aged 23, were arrested. They have both since been bailed pending to a date in late April pending further inquiries.

Police interviewed witnesses who indicated that two suspects - both black males, wearing hooded tops, who may have left the scene on pushbikes.

Officers from the Trident Gang Command investigated and say that they retain an open mind as to the motive at this early stage.

Any witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
