Model Donna Air in court over Pimlico parking fraud

Former actress, TV presenter and model Donna Air appeared in court over allegations of parking fraud while living in Pimlico. 

Appearing at West London Magistrates' Court  Air pleaded not guilty to the accusations. While living in Pimlico, the court learned, Air obtained a resident's parking permit from Kensington and Chelsea Council. But Air claims she was residing in Kensington and paying council tax to the borough when she applied for the parking permit. The council, however, have stated that she only lived in Kensington for two months and was supposed to send the permit back. 

The former star of Byker Grove, alongside Ant and Dec, is now due to appear at Isleworth Crown Court next month after being charged with fraud by false representation.
