The White Ferry House pub in Victoria is holding a charity

evening this Saturday (1st March) to raise money for Great Ormond

Street Hospital. The classic Victorian pub is putting on an afternoon of

entertainment, including a quiz, raffle draw, nibbles and karaoke, in an effort

to raise funds for the Children's hospital in Bloomsbury. The pub has already

managed to raise over £1000 and expects to double that over the weekend. Pub

manager, Justine Stenhouse, says "we have been overwhelmed with the level of

support from our local customers and we're so proud to be involved with such a

great cause".

The charity night takes place on Saturday 1st

March from 5pm at The White Ferry House, 1a Sutherland Street, SW1V 4LD.
