DLD College London has unveiled a new business centre study area at its Belgravia campus, to mark the introduction of its Business BTEC programme.

Business BTEC students starting at DLD College London this September will benefit from newly refurbished facilities including a state of the art ICT suite and a contemporary tutor group area.

Students enrolling on the new BTEC course will study major modules in Business Communication, International Business and Business Event / Project Management.

BTECs are work related qualifications suitable for a wide range of students and are built to accommodate the needs of employers and to allow progression to university.

The qualification is recognised by colleges, universities, employers and professional bodies across the United Kingdom and in over 100 countries worldwide. BTECs have been around for 25 years and provide a practical, real-world approach to learning alongside a key theoretical background.

Rachel Borland, DLD College Principal, comments: "We are excited about the new opportunities that will be open to our students taking the Business BTEC course. The modules are designed to give a comprehensive introduction to both domestic and international business practice, equipping our students for either successful entry at university to further their studies in the field, or for direct entry into major businesses, either here in the UK or abroad.

"We are also very pleased with the recently opened business studies study area, which will form a perfect 'home' for the course."
