2nd Chelse Fringe (18 May to 9 June 2013)

The second Chelsea Fringe is now calling for submissions for the 2013  event May 18th to June 9th.   It runs for 22 days across four weekends. Last year the event comprised community gardening activities,  garden/art installations and happenings, walks, talks, food events, open days, exhibitions and performances.  Last year there were more than 100 events run by fifty volunteers over three weeks and about 45,000 people attended.   The Chelsea Fringe is volunteer-run and unfunded, and operates as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company [CIC].  The Chelsea Fringe coincides and overlaps with the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.   Registration starts at £10 for one event but most projects pay £25.          http://www.chelseafringe.com/register/
